Alejandro Ponce
About
Alejandro graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Political Science, an emphasis Law and Public Policy, and minors in Economics and Psychology. As an undergraduate, he competed in mock trial, which inspired him to pursue a legal career. He now coaches the University of Arizona Mock Trial team.
Alejandro earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Director of the Trial Advocacy Team. In 2024, he won the Greenhalgh Trial Competition, which strengthened his courtroom advocacy skills.
During law school, Alejandro twice served as a law clerk for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee. He researched and analyzed constitutional questions involving federal executive authority and helped prepare Senators for hearings concerning judicial and executive-branch nominees.
Alejandro’s commitment to public service began well before law school. In New Mexico, he worked on state and federal political campaigns and interned in the U.S. House of Representatives. He later worked as a Data Research Specialist at the University of Arizona, where he helped researchers examine public attitudes toward environmental policy and contributed to academic publications.
His work in New Mexico, Arizona, and Washington, D.C., has given Alejandro broad experience advocating for others. He brings that same preparation and commitment to his work for clients, fighting to secure the justice they deserve.
