Kristy joined James Wood Law as a paralegal in September of 2026.

She began her career in the legal field in 2011 after earning her associate’s degree in paralegal studies. Prior to that she was a stay-at-home mom to her 3 children for 13 years.

She was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Phoenix in 2010. She never thought that she would make the desert her home, but she can no longer see herself living anywhere else.

Outside of work Kristy is an avid outdoors woman who loves hiking all the trails Arizona has to offer, usually with her 2 dogs in tow. When she’s not outdoors, she’s usually watching a true crime documentary, playing video games with her children, or curled up with a good book.
